Google Index Checker: A Simple Way to Check Multiple URLs in Google

A practical guide to checking, organizing, and tracking URL indexing

What Is Google Index Checker?

Google Index Checker is a bulk URL checking tool designed to help you quickly review whether your pages appear in Google Search.

Instead of checking every URL individually, you can paste a large list of URLs into the tool, process them in batches, and record each result as Indexed or Not Found.

The tool is particularly useful for SEO professionals, website owners, bloggers, publishers, and agencies managing many URLs.

How to Use Google Index Checker

Using the tool is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare Your URL List

Collect the URLs you want to check and place one URL per line.

For example:

https://example.com/page-one/
https://example.com/page-two/
https://example.com/page-three/
https://example.com/page-four/

You can paste a large number of URLs into the tool at once.

  1. Choose Your Batch Size

Select how many URLs you want to process at a time.

Available options include:
• 10 URLs
• 20 URLs
• 25 URLs
• 50 URLs
• 100 URLs

Using batches makes it easier to manage large URL lists without dealing with hundreds of results at once.

  1. Open the Next Batch

Click Open Next Batch to load the next group of URLs.

The tool will display the URLs in a table with columns for URL, Status, Google Search, Checked Time, and Action. This gives you a convenient spreadsheet-style view of your indexing checks.

  1. Check a URL in Google

For each URL, click Check Google.

The tool opens a Google search using a site: query. For example:

site:https://example.com/page-one/

Review the Google search results and determine whether the page appears.

  1. Mark the Result

After checking the URL, select the appropriate status:

✓ INDEXED — Use this when the page appears in Google Search.

✕ NOT FOUND — Use this when the page does not appear in the search results.

The tool records the status and checked time so you can keep track of your progress.

Continue With the Next Batch

Once you finish checking the current batch, click Open Next Batch again.

The tool moves through the remaining URLs in groups according to your selected batch size.

This is especially useful when you have hundreds or thousands of URLs to review.

Recheck URLs

If you want to verify a result again, use the Recheck option.

This allows you to open the Google search for the URL again and review its current search visibility before updating the status.

Track Your Progress

The dashboard provides a quick overview of your checking progress.

You can see:
• Total URLs
• Checked URLs
• Indexed URLs
• Not Found URLs
• Remaining URLs

A progress bar also helps you see how much of the URL list has been completed.

View Separate URL Lists

The tool also organizes your results into separate groups:

Indexed
Contains URLs that you have marked as INDEXED.

Not Found
Contains URLs that you have marked as NOT FOUND.

Pending
Contains URLs that have not yet been checked.

This makes it easier to focus on specific groups after completing a large checking task.

Export Your Results

After completing your checks, you can use Export CSV to download your results.

The exported report can be opened in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

This is useful when you need to:
• Share a report with a client
• Keep an SEO record
• Review indexing results later
• Maintain a URL tracking list

Who Can Use This Tool?

Google Index Checker can be useful for:
• SEO professionals
• SEO agencies
• Link builders
• Website owners
• Bloggers
• Affiliate marketers
• Content publishers
• Digital marketing teams
• Webmasters

If you regularly need to check the Google visibility of many URLs, a batch-based workflow can save significant time compared with manually organizing every URL separately.

Why Check Your URLs?

A page being published on your website does not necessarily mean that it is appearing in Google Search.

Regularly reviewing important URLs can help you identify pages that may need further SEO attention, such as improving internal linking, reviewing technical SEO settings, or investigating why a page is not appearing in search results.

For backlink and content campaigns, checking URLs can also help you maintain a record of pages and their observed Google search status.

Important Note About the Results

The tool uses Google Search with a site: query to help you manually review whether a URL appears in Google Search. A Not Found result should therefore be treated as an observation from that search, not as a guaranteed diagnosis of Google’s complete indexing system.

Google search results can change over time, and search operators do not provide all of the information available inside Google Search Console.

For detailed indexing diagnostics, Google Search Console’s URL Inspection tools are more appropriate.

Final Thoughts

Managing a large list of URLs does not have to be complicated. Google Index Checker provides a simple spreadsheet-style workflow for organizing URLs, checking them in Google, recording results, reviewing separate lists, and exporting your data.

Whether you are checking a few dozen pages or managing a much larger SEO campaign, the batch-based approach makes the process more organized and easier to manage.
